 BAEOP Student Scholarship Recipients

Brent Sandona

Brent SandonaBrent tells us that he is a student who loves his classes and it certainly shows in his 4.0 GPA from 7th through 12th grade. He volunteers at the Puget Sound Blood Bank and is a member of the National Honor Society. He has enjoyed being a mentor and tutor, so much that it is no surprise that he one day would like to become a teacher.

From an early age Brent was a performer and has starred in a number of productions from Brighton Beach Memoirs to Romeo and Juliet. He has also directed several plays and is branching out into film. Brent has chosen to attend the University of Washington and is considering a major in computer science, bio-medical engineering, math or physics, with a possible minor in film. He is excited about attending college and exploring his many interests.

Brent has shared that he is “positively delighted” about being selected to receive a BAEOP Scholarship.

Paul SangalangPaul would like to thank BAEOP for helping him continue on his path of higher education. These scholarships mean a lot, not only financially, but also in motivating him to work hard and put this award to good use. He is currently attending Washington State University and is a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He enjoys his classes and school and plans to receive a degree in both International Business and Spanish. He would like to thank BAEOP for their generosity and would like to assure us that our investment in his education will be put to good use.
